From Children's Slide to Doggy Steps

Was at Marymount Convent to pass something to a friend. Saw this big children's slide at the garbage area. Took it to the metal worker's shop to get him to cut it : there are two metal poles by the side of the slide. Hard to cut that off by myself with an ordinary saw . There's also rusty metal bits on the slide top. Had to cut the former, remove the latter...and also have a clean cut of the plastic segment. This he did for S$30 (a bit steep but never mind...better than trying to shop for another metal worker). Then it was green masking tape on carpet.....

The present situation was that the pups could use the top of the 'doggy stairs' to help them jump onto the bed. But the DOGGY STEPS (bought several years ago from the States) was too low and awkward for them to use during their exits from the bed. I had to physically carry each pup down the bed. Hence the need for this new contraption.

Ariel is focused and a quick learner. Asher is very distracted and when he got the idea that it was frightening, he couldnt focus on the treat or anything else...except escape whenever it was his turn to try....

We will keep trying...(GRIN).

PTL for the 'gift' of the slide!
