- Barnabas (Son of Encouragement) Ju-Ern (Mandarin for "God's Grace"). "Samsengkia" means "Gangster kid" in Hokkien, a Chinese dialect.
This is Clare Ern-Jie, my kid sister. Ern-Jie means "Grace and Holiness". (She has neither!)
