BEE/WASP STING....AGAIN!

MUMMY:

Clare was playing with Barn2 in the garden when suddenly she stopped and tried to clear something from her mouth with her paw. She kept trying to do that for a while. I opened her mouth and found her tongue curled up and 'stuck' in a particular direction. I thought she choked on something....so I put her in her carrier, rushed her to see Dr Jean Paul Ly at the Animal Recovery Centre.

When we got there, I realised that her muzzle, her tongue and her mouth were swollen.
Dr Ly took a look and smiled : "Bee or wasp sting ....". This isnt the first time she was stung by one of these. (see earlier blog). This time, it was probably IN THE MOUTH. (Buzzz...buzzz...Snap!...Gulp...! OUCH....)

Thank God - all it took was an injection or two...(yes, Clare tried to bite the vet who was doing the jabbing) and the swelling went down.

Must be a very sweet girl to attract the bees/wasps.....Haha.
