Its Chinese New Year 2008!
But in our family, we dont celebrate it.
Mummy says that its not that we have anything against it but that years ago (long before I was born), all the uncles in her family decided that they would rather spend the time resting/going on holidays than visit around.....
So we stopped celebrating it with the mandatory visitations....
What do we do for Chinese New Year then?
Well, this morning, I heard something happening outside....Water filling up my swimming tub!!!
Its been a LONG LONG time since the tub was filled. Probably about 5 or more months ago. Clare hadnt joined us yet....and when she did (4 months ago), it rained and rained and rained.
So this is the first time in a LONG while that I am getting a tubful of water.
I can't wait!!!
(Mummy: Barn2's front paws were trembling with great anticipation as he waited for the tub to be filled up....His body was all tense and ready to charge out of the door....)
FINALLY!!!!
Clare wanders in....
Then she was carried into the water....
Then....
Clare takes a liking to a 'fish'....
